is the practice test in the 07-08 sat prep booklet an actual test that has been administered previously?

anyone know?

bummpppp..

i dont think they say, but probably. its from the test makers at least.

No, it hasn’t been administered before. Same as the Collegeboard guide… Those haven’t been administered before. You want those that have been administered? 10 Real SATs.

Maybe not, but it is created by the same test makers, with the same types of questions you would see on the test, so it might as well be.

the 07-08 practice test is actually the october 2005 SAT

Sorry my fault.

thanks, i was confused because they give you a grading scale with exact scores, which they usually don’t do unless they have a curve to grade off of, hence the fact that its been administered before,

for those of you who took this test and an actual SAT, how did you do in comparison?

I got a 770 in CR and 670 in M, i didnt take writing

i am also interested in how this test compares to the more recent sat’s, grading/curve and difficulty wise

See [this thread](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/381107-when-blue-book-finished.html) for links to two previous SATs on CB.com.

The 07-08 practice test was the March 05 test, the 08-09 (current) practice test was the Oct. 05 test.

I would say that the curves on both these tests are very typical, at least for math.
