Hey! My D was accepted last week for MT. We are so thrilled! Congrats to all the new MTs of 2011!

Congrats MsrMom! What date did your D audition on?

My D was accepted and is so happy! She got a really nice note from Anita Evans that made the whole acceptance even more personal and wonderful. It is so nice to know that a school would care enough to take the time to hand write a personal note. Wow!!! She also was thrilled with Vicki B. and her professionalism and vision for BW program. She is a dynamo!

To all of the accepted students, I hope that I can see you all at the Senior Showcase this coming Monday at 6:00 PM.

I will be there!

Those of you who will be there, please introduce yourself! I'd really like to meet you all. I'll be wearing a light blue dress shirt with jeans. I'm short and i have red hair. Hopefully you'll he able to find me :)

Becoming an MT is not the greatest accomplishment of the world. Being an MT, I have come to realize that it isn't the best thing in life. You get your 4 years of glory (well, in your group! Everyone else on campus dislikes you because the "Holier than thou" attitude that is often accompanied with the MT's) Once you go out into the real world you will realize that your college days fooled you! 1 out of every 11,000 people get to do theater professionaly. So are you 1 of the 11,000? And this is not a rant. I am one of the best MT's here!

Here's the deal, no one take this post seriously. Considering that their first post is slander against their own program doesn't make them look too smart. I don't even know if this person is even in the program, maybe they'd like to enlighten me? Please if you have problems with what I write here step up and talk to me in person.
