<p>I hope I get my letter today, eeeeeeek! I live in Arizona, so I'm crossing my fingers for the theory that they sent out west coast letters Weds.</p>

<p>My friend applied EA to Georgetown, but hasn't received his letter yet. What's really weird about this is that we live right outside DC – my house is literally several feet from the border between Maryland and DC, and he lives just 10 or 20 minutes further into Maryland. In fact, my mom and I were planning to go into Georgetown tomorrow morning to practice parallel parking, that's how close we are.</p>
<p>Any idea what's up with that? He thinks that maybe only the acceptances were sent out in the first wave, and he's getting really nervous. I see that admissions sent them all out on Thursday, though, so I guess that's wrong. It could just be the mail being wonky. It happens.</p>
<p>Anyway, good luck to everyone who applied EA! I just got deferred EA from UChicago. To anyone who gets deferred, just know it's not the end of the world. The main disappointment is just that you can't join everyone who got accepted in dancing around and being exuberant – it doesn't say much about your future. I've had a little over a day to digest my deferral, and I've started to get over it. I'm confident that, if I can't get into Chicago RD, I can get into at least one other great school. Don't give up!</p>

<p>Ugh. Its 7 am, i just woke up on my own. In the past 8 hours i've had not one but two letters about getting my letter!</p>
<p>wow thats exactly what happened to me. the dreams are killer b/c you wake up thinking you're in...and then you're not. i hope my mailman is wearing full body armor...otherwise he may not survive my attack :)</p>

<p>Well, in my dream the letter was about the size of a CD...haha. I actually had TWO dreams yesterday about GU. </p>

<p>My parents are telling me to not expect mail today. I live in Illinois and they said if they sent it from DC on Thursday, then there is basically no chance of me getting it today unless they did express.</p>

<p>Er. I was hoping they sent my letter Wednesday so I would get it today, but since I live in New Mexico, I probably won't get it until Monday or Tuesday.</p>
