God wow if Oregon’s cutoff goes up from 213 from last year to 217, i will be ****ED.

GRrrrr—I want my stupid scores!!!
I want them now!!!

209 wooo class of '10

I got a 215 in NY. Did I just miss the cutoff

I’m in the exact same boat. Unless something crazy happened, we missed it.

Question for class of 2009 only: Are you receiving any college mail yet? Last year I scored well on the PSAT as a sophomore and received a ton of mailings but this year I have only received a few (not getting scores until Jan.) and was wondering if anyone is getting the bucket loads of mailings yet? Some of the sophomores at my school are starting to get quite a bit but not many juniors.

PKswmr76, is that supposed to be funny or something?

nbg, according to the College Board website, mailing lists generated by the 2007 PSAT are available around January 22nd. There is some college mail being sent now, but I believe that is obtained from other sources.

That’s the situation here too. My sophomore son has received no PSAT-related mail yet. I’ve heard from several parents that the flood starts in January. My son has been to some regional college information sessions, and has received a little bit of mail from some of those colleges, beginning in August.

“PKswmr76, is that supposed to be funny or something?”

-why would anything in my post be considered funny?

my D, a JR now, got tons of mail for awhile last spring and summer, and now it pretty quiet…so my guess it it will pick up again

have no fears!!!

ur hoping to be a semifinalist? because I highly doubt you will be…
it WAS funny how you were stressing over your score of…236 and one missed question.

looks like your chances are slim though, hahaha.
anyways, nice job.

lol i’m not stressing, i just didn’t want to be an ass and say “i’m definitely a semifinalist”

I got a 226.
75 CR (-2)
76 Math (-1)
75 Writing (-1)
I’m from Nevada.

What does it mean to be top 99% does that mean 99% and above or like many people are refering to 99.5% and above?? If I got a 217, what percent is that?

It seems there’s a load of smart kids out there!
Now I can’t wait for college to meet some of you ;-)

This thread almost makes me feel bad about my 227 PSAT score.
M 76 CR 71 W 80
Well, I’ll try to live w/ it ;D

Btw, I read in here earlier that every state’s cutoff for semifinalist is going up at least +5 points??? what is up with that?

Also, what is this PSAT curve? and why is it lower than last year’s?

..freesia where in the world did you read that? lol 5+pts? ***fff

like can u tell me where and what post freesia
