uconn wasn't my furthest reach by a long shot, but nonetheless was my top choice. idk i guess as an instate i kinda always wanted to be a husky...

but because i'm broke after endless christmas shopping, my enrollment deposit fee won't be sent until after dec. 25th. otherwise, it would have been in the mail minutes after reading my letter.

I got in a while ago. No scholarship or merit program though. Oh well.

Nothing special but I would have died if I didn't get in.
I'm still hoping they'll accept me to the honors college or offer scholarships with financial aid. Anyone know what the next step for me is? Any financial aid forms for me to fill in or anything?

I applied the day before the early action deadline, got the e-mail saying my application was complete late december and my acceptance letter today.

My daughter received her acceptance to UConn-Storrs yesterday. She applied on the 12/1 deadline for early action. Her stats are in-state, 3.9 weighted GPA, 1930/2400 1300/1600 SAT, 31 ACT composite. She had already taken and successfully completed 16 semester hours of courses at UConn while in high school. No word on financial aid with the admissions letter. I doubt that she will go as she wants to attend a university with a college of veterinary medicine, but it's a relief that she got in -- just in case.

Just because the school has a veterinary medicine school doesnt mean that she will get into the veterinary school....The only veterinary school in new england is Tufts maybe one or 2 others..i think
