Hey, you're in good company: elite Stanford got whipped by 38 points today too.

Not me. My team (NorthWESTERN) won 21-3. :)

It also looks like every school in the Big 10 is going to come away with a win this weekend.

*** larfs ***

"THES is a ranking for grad schools and research prowess"

THES is a contrived ego-boost for commonwealth countries.

Hidsafdsafdsadsafdsa

fdsadsaffdsaddas

I would like to know the "Actuarial Science" and "Insurance" ranking please.

thank you.

Hah! Harvard's been knocked down.
And wow, USC is improving.

Of course these lists are not always accurate. Yes, yes. :P
Gives us a decent idea though.

thoughtprocess,

the fact that UCSF is on this list at all - much less in the Top 10 - is clear evidence that undergrad is not taken into consideration...

[/quote]

The THES is actually a combination of both undergrad and grad programs. In instances where data for undergrad is unavailable, the system would just work on with the available data or exclude the undergrad data. But I would agree that the criteria is pro grad programs because nobel awardees, a big factor in THES ranking game, are syldom found in colleges or academic institutions that offer undergrad studies only.

According to the THES article, non-undergrad institutions are not included in the ranking. UCSF is either included by mistake or because it technically has a handful of undergraduates.

Repost, What about St. Johns UNIVERSITY in NY???

Could anyone PLEASEEEE tell me Worcester Polytechnic's Engineering ranking?

hmmm, this is cool. People will be dying to get in these colleges

Go to usnews.com and you can get the rankings for yourself instead of making cal type them up.

They have a ranking of the

top universities
graduate schools for
medical
engineering
business
etc.

I love the US News rankings, even though some people may object to this, i think that the rankings should influence your decision to attend a college because the value of your diploma depends on it. Which has more value Princeton diploma or BU diploma? Exactly. In addition, usually the higher ranking colleges provide the undergrads meaningful experiences. Lets face it, they have more resources and they will give you the best education you can get.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not anak, "usually the higher ranking college provides the undergrads meaningful experiences."????????
