2007, what are your top schools?

Stanford

Williams

Brown

Pomona
?

Haven’t decided if I like Yale or not. It’s a maybe. Harvard seems too inflated. I know nothing of Princeton.

I'll have to visit some of these before I know for certain, but right now some of the colleges I'm considering are Yale, Stanford, Brown, Swarthmore, Amherst, University of Chicago, Carleton, and Macalester.

Cornell
Columbia (my uncle is dying for me to go there because he does laser work there sometimes)
UPenn
NYU

Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, Chicago, Georgetown, NYU. Or something like that.

Penn
NYU
UNC
USC
MICH

man no love for Harvard. Whats your reason?

Its not where you go that matters, but what you do with you life.

Harvard

-

UPenn
Stanford
Cornell
Columbia
Northwestern
University of Chicago
UMich

School of my wildest dreams (which happens to be marginally out of reach with a ~3.6 and ~2200):
UPENN Wharton
Brown

More realistic choices:

NYU Stern
Michigan
Carnegie Mellon

I actually haven't decided whether CMU is one of my top choices...but they do have a top-rated business program....

Oh, I love Harvard's campus, compared to MIT especially. Harvard=happy campus :) MIT=depressing campus :(

Yeah, the same logic applies to all Ivies and top 50 colleges. Why don't you ****ing embrace the opportunities your community college offers?

I do.

I am actually considering going there since I want to take a gap year and dont want to fall behind.

No reason to go there. Like Yale, it's more focused on humanities than what I'm looking into. But Yale's an exception for personal reasons. :P

Georgetown Georgetown Georgetown

in conclusion, I really want to go to Georgetown.

1.) MIT
2.) Stanford
3.) Princeton
4.) Berkeley

But of the four, Stanford's the only one I've visited, so I bet that list will change after the college tour.

I haven't visited any of the colleges on my list. Most of the top choices on my list are at least 2500 miles from my house.

I'm a senior but I'll be applying for fall 07

OUt of reach.. far far away: PRINCETON
..
1) JHU
2) U Mich + Wash U

Those are my definites.

Tier 1: (according to my preferences)
Penn Huntsman
Harvard (EA)

Tier 2:
Princeton
Columbia
Johns Hopkins
Stanford
UChicago
UC Berkeley

Tier 3:
Tufts
Yale
Georgetown
American

UPENN- wharton
NYU
Emory
Lehigh
BC
Babson

Princeton (by far)

Yale
Harvard
Chicago

I would apply to Princeton ED if it weren't for my need to compare financial aid from various colleges dammit. PRINCETON UNDERGRADUATE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Harvard's a close 2nd...
