2008 AP Calculus AB - what did you guys think?

What did you guys think about this years AP Calculus AB exam? Hard?
Easy? Somewhere in the middle??

i thought the calculator MC was rather easy, non-calc MC was average, and i thought FRQ was challenging.. so i i'm hoping for a 4 somehow not really sure if i'll get that though haha

i heard last year's was really hard, but this year didn't seem that bad...

first off, my school prepares us extremely well; last year, everyone got 5's except for one person, who got a 4.
i thought the multiple choice was really easy. again, it could have been because my class took much harder peterson and barron tests for practice. the frq was challenging, it was much harder than the other years.

The free response raped my whole class.

i forgot to write this is sparta -.- lol

oh crap, dammit, i forgot this is sparta as well XD
oh well, a week from today, for AP Lang, i will write it all over the place.

hi i thought the mc was easy (the calc and non-calc). I left 17 blank though and answered the ones i knew how to do. i bombed the free response though!

will i get a four if i am confident i got all the mul choice right and left 17 blank

anyone know where the scale is at? so i can look at it

i thought everything was easy. though i admit the free response took more time than the MC.
I finished the MC sections each with like 20 minutes remaining or more.

u must be a genious then

The multiple choice was VERY easy. The free response was not "difficult" so to say, but it was much tougher compared to previous years. Overall, I think I did pretty well on it, although our teacher was an idiot throughout the whole year and as a result my whole class did terrible on it.

Glad I taught myself everything lol.

I thought the test, as a whole, was realllllly easy. I left 4 blank on mult choice, pretty sure everything else is right, double checked because i had time :D. I skipped 4 though I could have guessed the right answer probably on 2 of them, just not takin chanced. FRQ wasn't bad at all, though they included a type of problem that isn't usually in the FRQ (not gonna say what typecuz of that college board rule thing), but it was easy nonetheless. Overall, i got a 5! WOO! Owned ittt.

^ wow u r a pretty confident person... haha i could never be that confident

and @krapde, yes i HAVE to write it for english hahah

dude the multiple choice was easy...left 13 blank pretty sure of the rest...frq screwed me over
didnt expect those types of questions
um...overall not that bad of a test
actually had fun :)

i took that today, and last year i took the BC one, i was suppose to take the BC one today too, but my school messed up and now i get to take it later.
BUT
i thought it was fairly easy and to tell you the truth i dont know much calc, because my teacher is retarded and cant teach anything at all. so we will see how i do.. last year my AB subscore was pretty bad but thats cuz i guessed on everything and didnt really write anything on the FRQ.

anyone taking, apush, bio, lang or psych?

Well.. I'm indian.. the whole asian-math thing might be it. But, I don't know, I just knew how to do all of it (; and the curve is decent so either way I'm prettttty sure i got a 5. Shocked if it's a 4, but probably won't be anyway.

I didnt have any problems with the MC at all... I had to leave section 1 d) of the free-response blank, however... I had no idea what to do.
The rest went fine, hoping for a 5 :)

Also taking lit, bio, and economics

The MC was totally fine but the free response was awful I think...I'm hoping to do alot better in APUSH and English Language but I'll be happy if I scrape a 4 on this...stupid collegeboard rules about not discussing problems

1st section was tough for me, 2nd was relatively easy, free response was pretty difficult

The multiple choice was a breeze, and yeah, the FR were challenging, although I thought 2007's were harder. I'm so frustrated on #1 part-d, I figured it out with my left over time during the no-calculator section of the FR, but I couldn't plug it in to my calculator! Hopefully I get partial credit.
