2008 EA Stats

Does anyone know the stats from last year’s EA admitted applicants? (how many applied, how many got in EA) Also, does anyone have a clue as to how many EA applications Harvard will get this year compared with Princeton, Yale and UPenn? Didn’t Yale have the most last year?

I heard only around 3900 applied but i dont know how many of those got in. This was because of some rule (non binding??) or something that caused the number of applicants to go down from 7000 or so to 3900. Thats all I know. If anyone knows about the rule that changed......?

For the Class of 2007, one could apply to several schools eary action/decision but just have to withdraw all other applications if they got into the ED school. For example, my friend applied to both Harvard and MIT EA in one year.

Didnt they change it so that u cant apply to other schools ea if u apply to harvard ea. U can only apply to state schools or something like that???

but you're not a statistic.

Tennispro2388 you're right. Now Harvard has "Early Action Single Choice" which limits Harvard EA applicants to applying to only to state schools and those with rolling admission programs.
