2008 not available yet... should i still give it in without? or wait?

So I'm from Canada, and my 2008 tax forms aren't available yet, they will be by march.
However deadlines are approaching, and I'm wondering if it will hurt my fin aid if i give in the application without, and only with 2007 and estimated 2009.I know it says you can do it, but i dont know if it will be disadvantageous.

Is there anyone from previous years who got a significant amount without initially submitting their current years forms? (so 2007 for last year, 2006 for the year before)

thank you!

Last year when fillng out the FAFSA for the first time, I used my last pay stub for the year to make my estimations and I submitted it Jan 2. When I did my income taxes, FAFSA must have crossed check it with feds and updated it and I was sent a notice. I think it is better to send an estimation in early, so that you will get the maximum amount of FA available. I have already submitted my FAFSA for next year using the same formula I did last year.

thanks
</p>

anyone else
