Major Applied: Pure/Applied Mathematics
College GPA: 3.96 (7 A+, 1 A-)</p>
<p>HS GPA: 3.7(UW), 4.1~ (W); from a below average public high school.
ACT Score: 32
SAT II: none
Sig EC: traveling, poetry writing, tennis, Japanese School, math teacher, etc</p>
<p>Rec: Although I didn’t get to see them, I assume they were pretty good. -- Highest grade in class/ great relationships with professors.
Essays: I wrote two essays and used them for all the colleges. I didn’t think they were that good but my anthropology professor really liked them and called them a “New Yorker.”</p>
<p>Applied to: Georgetown, WashU, Penn, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern
Accepted: Penn, Brown, Columbia, Washu, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern (my request for withdrawal at Hopkins and NW apparently never went through)

<p>Words of wisdom for freshmen who are already planning to transfer next fall (although u probably won't listen): Give your current school a chance before deciding to transfer. I definitely regret not doing so.</p>
