Rejected!

Kinda hard to swallow after the euphoria of the past few months, but I'll take what I get and just be a Yalie next year.

I wonder why I got rejected.. lol I just wish I could've been there to see them deliberating over my application. 2400/800/800/790, 8 5's on APs, leadership extracurriculars, work experience and service, and decent essays/recs. Guess we'll never know - the application process is so darn unpredictable.

Sorry for everyone else who got rejected, too, but it seems like you all have great back-up options =).

alwaysTHISclose: Wow. That IS really harsh.

But at least congrats on Yale!!

Rejected....this effing sucks...

Chicago I guess...

^I'm so sorry Sheed.:( I know how bad you wanted this.

Can't wait to find out how many kids from QB they took in RD. I think they took 50 or so last year.

rejected :( :(
international NOT asking for aid
oh well, i see myself ending up at NYU Stern :D

Well, I got rejected. A bit of a blow, as it's my first rejection this year (I'm not 6/7) and doesn't bode well for Princeton, Harvard, and Yale decisions. But it'll all end up working out: I think I'd be happy at my backups as well, and I'd still very much like to go to Georgetown SFS (admitted) if finaid works out.

It's my first reject too.

joining the rejection club. I have to say it doesn't really hurt much, though I guess it doesn't bode well for Cornell and Princeton on Monday. bah...

but, I have William and Mary and UVA, the former being my favorite, and a lot of my friends are probsbly going to end up there, so... : D

What was the size of your rejection email?

10k, and wow, it is a very hurtful 10k. What a crummy feeling.

Environmentally-friendly rejection.

Also my first rejection... oh well, wasn't really expecting to get in anyways. Thank goodness for the UC system!

Rejected! Ahhh well UCB pwns Stanford anyway

awww second rejection for me (MIT first). oh well Berkeley accepted me.

it was my first rejection as well (then again, I've only heard from UCs). I'm not that upset about it but I'm just worried for Monday now tooo :(

Second rejection (Caltech). It wasn't so bad because I know how rejection feels and I also got into CMU so it balances out. At least I know that if I get into MIT from the waitlist I'm going for sure.

Did anyone from CC who also applied for QB get into Stanford?

Ya...... im on a rejection streak. I got rejected from UCLA, San diego and berkely (out of state) and wait list at northwestern. Now rejected here.... Wow confidence killer much?

i was on a 7 college acceptance streak! (UCI, UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley, U Chicago, Williams, Dartmouth)......until today.....for moment there i thought i was invincible.............ouch...rejection sucks....but I am still happy with my choices and still waiting on Brown, Columbia, and Yale crossing fingers
