2008 U.S. News and World Report Business Rankings

<p>Is there really that much of a difference between Darden and Kenan-Flagler (UVA / UNC)</p>

<p>Duke and Columbia are ranked too low, but w/e... they'll never be a set of rankings everyone agrees with</p>

<p>I agree that Columbia is ranked too low. You have to consider the rankings "universal appeal" though. If you're aim is to go to Wall Street all that matters to you is how Wall Street ranks the schools and Columbia is considered much higher than most for i-banking/trading because of it's strong emphasis on finance and it's location in NYC. My own personal feeling of how the schools are ranked by Wall Street is (top five):</p>

<p>Harvard
Wharton
Columbia
Stanford
MIT</p>

<p>Others may disagree but this is my impression for investment bankers views on the schools. I honestly don't think Harvard will ever lose that top spot, some may argue it's not the absolute best but it's always got that prestigious name which is 90% of the ballgame.</p>
