Wow! This is definitely a most exciting time of the year =) Congratulations fellow semifinalists! This is going to be a fun exam.

Does anyone have an idea of the semifinalist cutoff score this year? Last year, I think it was 80 combined M.C. and open response on the preliminary exam.

Wow, didn't expect this one! Congrats to all!

congrats again.

same as countingdown, didn't expect it at all.

just out of curiosity, why are the usabo and usaco threads so long? where are all the physics people? sheesh. kids these days.

all the physics people are at home studying physics. i know one of them.

magically, i am a semifinalist. i didnt even perceive that i would even get above a 10 (out of 25) on the preliminaries.

i thought i did pretty good on the preliminary exam but after taking the qf exam i was so sure i didn't make it but somehow i did! did you guys check your answers with the ones posted on the AAPT site? how many did you get right?

i was one of the graders for the quarterfinal exam. as you may have guessed, scores were kinda low this year. good luck on the semifinal! (i reviewed the semifinal exam this year, too... i'm curious to see how that turns out!)
