bumping back to page 1

Will probably not get W2 until very end of Jan. and can't use last pay stub as it includes income deferrals and was way higher this year than 2007 (unfortunately 2009 income looks to be significantly lower). Should we just file FAFSA and CSS profile now based on 2007 tax returns and revise later? Most of son's schools require by Feb. 1. Also, I know some schools say that a projected lower bonus for 2009 is not sufficient reason to send a letter to school, but it is significant to us. Thanks

bumping...........

Useful.....

Thanks.

I call for a sticky.

Does it seem to you that the 09/10 Detailed questions don't provide as much guidance as they did last year?

I have still found it helpful though some changes are not well explained. I think people are more confused this year because of some of the changes. Like not reporting untaxed SS income - which was used in the EFC formula in previous years. And the displaced worker question which a lot of people think qualifies them for special needs or Automatic 0. They seem to have made it more confusing in their attempt to make it simpler.
