<p>hey guys, quick question. when only a date is listed by a college (ie I’m talking specifically about Georgetown- December 15 and UChicago- December 13), does that mean that students will be receiving the letters at that date, or the colleges are just sending them out at that date?</p>
<p>Probably the day when they mail it or announce online. It is almost impossible to predict when people would receive the snail mail.</p>
<p>December 13, 2008 fell on a Saturday, so I wondered if perhaps Chicago might post their decisions online today. So far, they haven’t.</p>

<p>Check your Chicago account. The home page says that “[e]ventually, you will be able to check the status of your application and admission decision through your account.”</p>
<p>However, I don’t know if they also send email notifications; also, it’s not clear when “eventually” might be.</p>

“Early Action: Deadline - November 1 // Notification Date - December 25”</p>
<p>Tufts ED1 decisions were available online (through the TAMS system) on Friday December 11th. Letters were also sent out on December 11th. Good luck!</p>

<p>ED acceptance letters for Connecticut College went out on Friday 12/11 by snail mail. We live in CT and got notification the next day (in!) Hope you have the same result.</p>
