I know they're out and available on the phone.. but I don't want to call and pay the money because I'll get them mailed to me eventually.

But I've noticed a lot of people on CC have called and figured out their scores already..

So how was the curve for this year's tests?

I took AP Biology, Psychology, Art history and Human Geo.

and AP chem and USH btw. :P

I took AP Bio and got a 4. The multiple choice section was easy, just the open response that I have had no practice in.

As far as the curve goes, only 50% pass with a 3 or above for biology.
The other ones in previous years have all passed like 60-70%

Oh, and I heard AP chem was killer. Everyone at my school said it was the hardest test they have ever taken. But then again the chem teacher at my school sucks.

and if i can somehow add this to this thread: ap world history too
i thought it was a killer =(

5 on US and 5 on Psych, I’d like to know what the curves were as well…

i am hoping that world history had a generous curve this year :)

Nobody’s asked but I think the AP Euro curve was pretty generous. I got a 5 and felt like the MC were almost impossible (estimate 15-20 wrong), essays were pretty tough (probably like a 5 on one of them and a 7 on the other) but I definitely got a 10 on the DBQ it was one of the best I’d ever written.

i took ap bio, ap us and ap english lit and i got a 4 on bio and a 5 on us and english … the curve seemed to be pretty nice this year

I can’t imagine the AP curve changing so much from year to year that it would significantly alter any of your grades.

^This. Unlike the SAT curve which can change quite a bit from test to test.

I hope the curve is generous because I definately need it

I hated the AP Spanish test. everything about it is wrong. on top of that, we have a horrible teacher at my school. i got a 2, my buddy got a 1. those are the only scores i know so far. its impossible to do well unless you are already fluent in spanish. (as opposed to me who has taken five years of public high school spanish classes, gotten straight As and 2 on the AP test) arg so messed up! did anyone else have this experience? bump.

i got a 3 in bio, a 4 in chem, and a 3 in english. the bio and chem score were massively disappointing…

Xargon–my sympathy. I know kids who have gotten a 5 on the AP Spanish and they were definitely NOT native speakers. It’s too late for you but I would complain to the administration that the teacher is obviously not preparing you for this test.

heh thanks. i think that was his last year. it was so frustrating. he would just hand out practice sections every day, and not tell us how to improve on them. so we would do them get roughly the same score every day from day one to day 175 or whatever.I was just really hoping to scrape a 3. o well, i got a 5 in english language and a 4 in bio, so im alright with it. but i can pretty much say goodby to ap scholar or whatever

lots of people are getting their scores where I live. I know people who have gotten 5s and stuff but they are the typical super geniuses so i dont know if that says anything about the curve

man, I took the biology and english language
I’m really ready to find out! But I’m not payin 8 bucks to call haha
Why can’t they just post it online somewhere when they know lol

good to hear that the ap bio people have been doing well
I really really need a 4 and I know I could have got it but you never know haha

I took Psych, Lit, Calc AB, Econ, and Govt, and got a 4 on all of them.
Psych was harder than I expected (although not necessarily difficult), calc and lit were exactly what I expected, and econ and govt were far easier than I expected–neither teacher prepared us well for the latter 2.
