Hypothetical situation -

If the 2009 tax returns aren't ready by March 1st...what is a student to do?? Is it ok to substitute those with the 2008 ones? Or send everything else but send in the 2009 once it's ready?

Thanks.

You should e-mail your colleges.

I e-mailed mine and they said to sent ** their financial aid office ** the documents, not IDOC. They asked me to send the 2009 ones to IDOC when its ready. But I’m international, so our tax filing is a little different even though the tax calendar year is the same.

I assume this varies from college to college.

Thanks gapyearstudent.

Let’s say my dad finishes his tax returns this weekend…usually, how long would it take to have the hard copy available? Does it happen fairly quickly?

All he has to do is hit the “print” button when he’s done.

HAHAHA!!!

Thanks, 'rentof2! That really put me at ease!
