BTW they call it the 2010 edition.

Officially, the 2010 rankings won’t come out till later this week or next. This is a leaked list.

I guess the list is official now.

Wow. Georgia Tech’s MBA jumps into the top tier in just 5 years and catches Emory. If they keep doing that, we’ll have to stop making fun of management majors.

would a MBA from smaller and mre random school like KU still have worth or relevance in the current work force/Economy?

Depends on your goals.

basically i have schools in kansas to choose from thats where my son is. Ku law or Ku MBA

I’m at Xavier and find that it has a good regional name brand, mainly because of the basketball team. I like the program and chose it because it suited my work/family/school life balance and it’s not a joke of a program. Professors and faculty are well connected in the region and many of alumni make good money. It is a breading grown for P&G and GE folk, many of whom are cream of the crop in the working world and very good minds. So, you will be well challenged by your peers.

I moved to the area of from California about 4 years ago. At that time Xavier and Ohio State had about the same name recognition for me, and I do follow sports. Also, Xavier is apart of the Jesuit network of schools which includes Creighton, University of Santa Clara, Gonzaga, and Boston College amongst others. Those who understand a Jesuit education from any of the other institutions will at least have some understand of the level of education received at another.

Barrons,
My list is accurate…I started this post over a year ago in 2008, not 2009. Your data is for the 2010 rankings. I guess in your attempt to keep track of the details, you forgot to look at the date of the original post?

so ku basketball(and football one year every 125) will get me jobs? hahaha k
