^^ Thing is atm they are not poise for a deep tourney run but I think that it is very possible that someone will step up in the dance and bust brackets nationwide.

Hoping my Spartans will get a W tonight against Wisconsin

woo awesome win by the Spartans against the Badgers! Thank god. Also, since Illinois also got beaten by Penn state, I feel a little less rotten that we lost against them too. But still embarrassing. Hope our win against Wisconsin is a good sign of things to come…

Looks like Izzo is starting to get Michigan State back on track.

It’s about time Duke lost

Spoke too soon. Michigan State basketball is depressing, at least for the moment. Started out as preseason #2… now they’re unranked, 12-7, and aren’t even through with Big 10 play. Hopefully, they’ll get it together come March.

Well interesting year in college basketball in our house. We live in San Diego and DS is a freshman at Ohio State. Can’t believe that OSU is #1 and SDSU is #4. Pitt lost tonight so if SDSU beats BYU they could possibly be #2!! Now if OSU looses then SDSU could possibly be #1 (and all of San Diego would faint over that news). I must admit with DS at OSU I have become a Buckeye fan and want to see them go all the way. Freshman Jared S. is fun to watch. Have seen SDSU in person they are also a fun team to watch. Got an email from Aztec ticket office that a first occurred for SDSU today-students began lining up at 4:30 a.m. to get student tickets for Wyoming game-who would have thought.

^Yeah, SDSU has been a big surprise. Looks like they could go deep in the tourney. The BYU loss was meh; its tough to beat BYU when Fredette puts up 43. IMO, he’s the best player in college ball next to Kemba Walker.

OSU is really good too, but I don’t think they’re going undefeated.

As for my Spartans, they gotta get it together. Never thought I’d see they day when they’d be in the bubble to get into the tourney.

UNC/Duke game was pretty fun to watch. I think we (UNC) will beat Duke when we play them in Chapel Hill in March. It is good to see both teams playing well again, though.

Got the Buckeyes coming to the Kohl Center this weekend in Madison for another match up with number 1. I think most people around here remember what happened this fall and hopefully it will happen again! Just not sure we have a matchup for Sullinger, but we shall see. We are dominant at home so I am optimistic.

@Cuse0507

I wouldn’t bet on Kyle Singler shooting 3 for 17 from the field again, not against UNC.

@Cryto Looking forward to that game too. If OSU is going to lose, there’s on better place than the Kohl center.

I agree. It’s a much better match up now that Carolina’s playing better

It’s a great day to be from Wisconsin. Packers win the Super Bowl last Sunday, and I just got to storm the court after watching Bucky take down #1 OSU in basketball. Ah, life is good.

UCLA’s won 9 of the last 10 now. Next 6 games will be tough though…

^Yeah they have a tough upcoming schedule, including a key match-up with Arizona.

Glad to see No.1 go down again. The top spot seems to be wide open now.

Tough week for Purdue this week. Wisconsin at home on Wednesday then Ohio State at home on Sunday. At least we are playing home considering we are undefeated at Mackey right now for this season.

^ You’ll be undefeated there until tomorrow night at least ;)

I wouldn’t bet on Smith and Curry having 56 points again, either. Nor would I bank on us going 2-14 from 3-point range again.

Either way, the rematch is going to be a great game. I’m glad to see UNC pulling it together and making the ACC look better.

One down. One more to go. Boiler Up!
