New Jersey had 7 perfect scores and an average score of 23.2…

I wish they broke up their reports by testing date/state instead of graduation year/state. Some of these 36s could have been scored 3 years ago…

Gosh Dang now i’m only 98th percentile nationally rageeeee… but 99th statewide(Michigan)

Also Michigan should be proud of the lowest scorer in the nation of the score of drum rolll please---- DOS!

Arkansas had only 3 36’s. Up from 2 a year ago. And we’re definitely an ACT state, for what that’s worth.

Lol I never expected 36s to be so rare. For some reason it doesn’t feel too hard! 2400 seems so much harder

2006…3, 2007…4, 2008…4, 2009…5, 2010…9; We almost doubled this year. :)

i completely agree with RAlec114. How are there only 23 perfect scores in NY!?

Why would you care ?

It’s because New York is an SAT state

I’m looking at Michigan report…where did quertykey find there were 35 with 36?

Look at the charts that show the percentage who took the ACT. Some states are requiring the ACT (100%). That will drawn down the average scores. As to whether SAT popular stats report less 36 scores because of that I’m not so convinced. Many high achieving students are aware that all colleges/unis will take either ACT or SAT and most likely take both to maximize their chances for a “best score.”

I am very pleased that the ACT has become more popular than the SAT. Around 1.57 Mil vs. 1.51 Mil

^^^^^^^^^^
Correction- 1.57 ACT vs. 1.54 SAT

When it says 36 it really means 35.5+, right?

South Carolina also had only 1 36.

http://www.act.org/news/data/10/pdf/profile/SouthCarolina.pdf?utm_campaign=cccr10&utm_source=profilereports&utm_medium=web

To check for the state you’re interested in, just change the “SouthCarolina” in the URL above to the name of your desired state. The info that most care about is on page 7 (average) and 12 (number who got each score).

Changing it to Ohio doesn’t work

EDIT: Nevermind, you have to make sure it’s capitalized

Really…? People are caring about this?
