'10 Accepted Students:

In your acceptance letters, did it include any admissions statistics (i.e. the number of students that were accepted, SAT, diversity, etc)?

Please post them here.

17.500 applied

wow 17500 sounds such a relief when u compare it to some really nasty applicant pools this year...

David, you write for the Prince, don't you? Wouldn't someone there be a much better source of info? :p

actually, I dont write for the Prince. I'm just an interested student :P

procrastinating,

bump-- ACCEPTED STUDENTS, DOES THE LETTER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS ADMITTED?!

no, it only mentioned the number that applied

last year, both the prince and the university released the numbers on friday, april 1. i'm not sure what the hold-up is this year.

hmm... oh well, I'll just wait. I'm guessing the acceptance rate will be around 10-10.5%

you like Princeton MightChip26? i can't wait to go

I heard that only 6.9% of the applicants were accepted this year.

Is that even possible???????

I'm hoping I heard wrong.

regular decision applicants, perhaps.

will inflate after wait list admissions

Amnesia..
I thought u were going to Harvard (or were you the one complaining about AC not helping you enough?)
Where did you get in and what are your plans...just curious: don't actually have to answer.
--Later

Nah I am not going to Harvard. AC? not sure, no.

I am going to Princeton definitely. I wouldn't turn it down for the world.

I love Princeton. It's such an amazing place. Everyday is a new source of pride, knowledge, and excitement for me. I wish everyone in the world could experience what it's like to be a Princeton student.

figures galore in today's "prince." and reference is made to a "university press release" on the topic, which will probably appear on the princeton homepage sometime later this morning.
