2010 amc 12a

did anyone get all of the answers right or really close to all of them right?

i have at this point.

22 of them solved…

I havn’t tried the others, but will do so tomorrow.

Gah… It’s so much easier to solve these once there’s not the pressure of the contest on you…

Just solved a problem that had been skipped in about 2 minutes =/

Anyone mind PMing me the answers too? (yeah, I know these posts are getting a little annoying, but PLEASE, I’m dying to know!!)

knowlegeinchaos,

I knowwwwwww. I got 3-4 of the ones I was struggling with AFTER the test was over, and fairly quickly too. The time pressure definitely makes me think less clearly.

jesus, why did you make me forget how to take the square root of 1000000?
and forget how to add fractions. and misbubble an answer.
and just **** up easy algebra
WHY OH WHY
smh 64.

//Wait, guys, so AMC 10 and 12 got similar questions?//

Yes, they share some questions.

Think about it, the people who take the AMC12 are probably already the top 1-5% of their class, and people who get 800s on SAT Math can get scores anywhere from 50-150 probably.

Cube root… It’s volume…

So I am a ninth grader taking algebra two and trig honors, and I took the AMC 10 first time today. I thought it was kind of hard, but I got 19 questions and left 6 blank. I know that if got all of them correct, I am in the AIME, but if I miss one, I am out. So I am very anxious about how I did. Can anyone please PM me the answers for the AMC 10 please??
Note: ITS THE AMC 10 NOT THE 12!

I wish I did better.
I wish I did better.

Can someone PM the answers to 12a?

Thanks

Gah… Just solved another one, and got that one wrong (as a guess) on the test two…

Crosses fingers and hopes that one of the three other guesses had the answer of C…

can someone please pm me answers as well? thanks :)

Cool, I don’t recognize half the people in this thread. Lol.

I don’t know why everyone’s making such a big deal. I was worrying a lot more for last year’s AMCs and AIME than for this year’s. But it’s all good, since I advanced.

Btw, we’re not yet allowed to talk about the answers. AoPS has a blanket ban on the subject until Thursday.

PM answers please
thx

Complete failure. I doubt I got more than an 85, but I didn’t expect much anyway.

The reason I took the AMC 12:
I walked into the class of my math teacher from last year to ask her for a recommendation. She asked me if I was taking the AMC. I said I wasn’t planning on it. She said, “Now you are” as she signed me up. I didn’t really have a choice after that…

This was the msot epic failure of my life.

can someone please pm me answers as well? thanks

PM answers please:)

Can someone please PM me the answers too. I took the AMC 12A and the first question was involving addition and subtraction and the next one was a ferry boat.
