2010 AP Reading Calendar

I came across this schedule on AP Central:

AP Central - 2010 AP Reading Calendar

It looks like some of the exams have already been graded, some are being completed today, and a couple more days are left for the rest. I didn't realize there were 5 different reading sites.

nice find!

10char

No offense but: why obsess over it? You’re not going to get your scores any faster.

Wow, all of mine are graded already!!! That makes me so nervous!

@ derek260

This is CC, a place where people obsess over every little detail of everything that pertains to their education, no matter how ridiculous, me included :)

I’m getting really curious about the progress of the grading of the exams, and I just happened to stumble across this calendar. I thought that other members would find it interesting, as I did, that a lot of the exams have already been graded and that their scores are now set in stone. For those of us who have invested a lot of time and energy for AP exams this year, it is kind of cool to know when they are being graded. :)

Does anyone else think that the scores should be released by subject online? It seems inefficient to make us call or wait nearly a month after some exams are graded to find out our scores.

^That would be nice, wouldn’t it? They can make a lot of money from people who will pay the $8 though, and plenty will do it.

[AP scores - Online Scores for Schools and Districts](AP Score Reports – AP Central | College Board)

^Does that mean that students will be able to access their scores online? All I saw on that link was teacher and administrator access which does nothing for me :(

Right, but you can just call your school and ask them :)

Ah, good point. I might just do that, if anyone is around to give me the information.

^^^ At my school that is very unlikely. . .

^If they are graded already, wouldn’t it make more sense to send them out sooner?

^That is what one would think, mariya. But that is not how the CB thinks, unfortunately.

I think it saves money to send all the scores at once in one envelope instead of three, two, or however many envelopes are needed per individual. However, their best money saver would probably be making the scores available online instead of through the mail.

Holy cow, mine’s been graded for over a week.
It’s rather nerve-wracking to think that my grade is out there, waiting on me to find out.

I’m going to spend the $8 to find out early.

Today’s the last AP exam grading day. I’m sure the high school teachers and college professors grading our FRQs are happy to hear that!

My Stat grade is out there, somewhere… gulp

I am afraid of some grading mistake to have occurred while they were grading my tests…

I wouldn’t mind them making a mistake if it gave me a higher score  jk
