Well, my S now has an envelope sitting on his desk … for whenever he returns this evening.

Hello, FindAPlace! Daughter received acceptance letter today. Did your son open his yet? Congrats to all accepted!

I received my acceptance letter for CCS Biology!

omg…going crazy now…Did you all get accepted into UCSB first though? Like, which acceptance came first? And are any of you transfer by any chance?

My UCSB acceptance packet, and CCS acceptance letter arrived together.

Can you get into the CCS after your first year or so?

^ I think so…

And I got accepted first, then got into CCS.

Yes, S received his acceptance to CCS in physics. He also found out he was admitted to Northwestern but still waiting to see on admit to their special Integrated Science Program. This works the same as UCSB, in that the student is first admitted to the school and find out separately whether they are admitted to the separate program.

FindAPlace, congratulations and good luck to him with his other applications!

I never got an email, but my acceptance letter came yesterday!

IN!!! YES…well atleast to CCS…For some reason CCS informed me first BEFORE UCSB. Weird? I thought they only told you AFTER you were admitted to UCSB not before. I would hate to know I made it into the program only to have the university reject me That would suck. Any ideas as to why they told me beforehand?

@nicolles well you were supposed to find out wether you got into UCSB by the end of march, so maybe you already got in but just haven’t checked? unless you’re a transfer then i’m not sure
but i don’t think they’d admit you into the college without amitting you into the university =] so congratulations

FINALLY got in relief

Congrats lita :)
