<p>is anyone else already nervous for the semifinalist announcement 1/13...
its kinda weird that im nervous not because i feel like my paper, essays, etc werent good... but because i feel like i missed something in the application... maybe i forgot to put my name on top of every page or something like that... and then my project's automatically disqualified... ugh.</p>

<p>Oh wow, I totally forgot the semifinalist announcement is coming out this month! (Actually, “forgot” is the wrong word because I didn’t even know when it’s supposed to come out.) Haha, tomjonesistheman and proletariat2, same here.</p>

well isnt the entire entry package the paper and app? including all the essays?
i know i forgot to put my name on top of the pages with my figures in my paper… b/c i printed them as pdf’s and not as documents so i completely forgot to put a header… really hope they dont disqualify my entry… ugh</p>
<p>^that sucks, but i looked at all of my forms and my names were on them so whew… aggh why can’t wed. come faster??? all i want is semifinalist and i could care less about being a finalist, but it would be nice tho…</p>
<p>haha thats exactly what i said about siemens. i wasnt expecting much so semifinalist wouldve been enough. but then i got regional finalist, and went to the regionals… and it was extremely disappointing to not win even though i previously said semifinalist is enough.
but now that i know my paper was good, id be soo disappointed if i dont get anything in intel just cus of some stupid name issue… and who knows what else i forgot</p>

<p>i think if you go to the intel sts website, they’ll be a link to the list of semifinalists. from my friends from previous years, its not a pdf like siemens. and also, when it comes out at 4, the website is completely overloaded so you prob can’t check for at least 10min… ugh</p>
<p>^What zoom said… Mine was on cancer, which can lead to an early detection for cancer and for new treatments</p>
<p>yea it’s actually something like it says semifinalist announcement ( on the website) and then it’ll say which state you want, click on ur state and find your name… Yeah I heard it gets overloaded for almost 30 min… and i vaguely remember that it came out on tuesday last year at 3 o’clock… why did intel change it???</p>
