<p>Two years ago, call was around 6:45. One person was not called, but presented with a big check from Intel/STS folks and media coverage at school the next day. Good luck to all. There is still a media embargo until the official announcement time tomorrow, so I wouldn’t expect folks to get on CC tonight and announce, though one can expect that one’s teacher will know!</p>

<p>ok so this is what i’ve gathered from reading intel threads from previous years.
situation #1: you get called the afternoon before the results come out
situation #2: you dont get called the afternoon before. but someone comes to your school the day of and presents you with a big check and tells you you’re a finalist
situation #3: you get called sometime during school the day results are announced</p>
<p>and of course, situation #4: you’re not a finalist… and dont get anything =((</p>

<p>Yes. My friend got rejected early (not even deferred) from MIT. Then she got intel semis and was accepted to HPS</p>
