Really?
“An application fee of $60, payable by check or money order to Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, must accompany application.” –> this was what I found.
Hmmmm… perhaps that option will come out once I submit it. Thanks for clearing this out guys…

It should say on the online application once they put it in. I sent mine out awhile ago and a few days after I submitted my Weill Cornell app it said they received it. Others I submitted just last night or two days ago so they haven’t had time to input it, I’m assuming. I’d just wait.

I sent all of my transcripts in the first week of October. Most did not post anything until I submitted the application (11-5-09). Even then, it has taken close to two weeks for them to post something. Don’t stress about it too much.

I have transfer credits from UC Berkeley (I took only summer session so only 8 credits. No degree awarded) . Do you think i have to send transcript from UC Berkeley?

Okay, come on guys. There’s a thread on the front page about application information, and this thread was for results; while the other was for chances and whatnot.

This is actually very helpful and comforting. Thank you! I sent GRE scores and transcripts in mid-October but didn’t get my application in until about a week ago-- One of my schools has GRE scores but no transcript and it’s making me very nervous.

^ They might take time to input it, it might not actually be the true case. For example, there were I think a few day differences between when they said my CV arrived (the only school I sent a paper version) vs. transcript, which was in the SAME package! So, don’t worry too much. Although it might be worthwhile to call.

Thanks, safetypin! I’m mostly worried because no one’s in the registrar’s office until Monday and the deadline is… you guessed it… Tuesday. It’s my fault for waiting so long to check, but the thing is that I requested a transcript to be sent to myself along with the batch going out to grad schools. When I got my own transcript at the end of October, I assumed that the rest had been received, too. rolls eyes Bad assumption, huh?

I’m hoping that it just means that they don’t begin to compile the rest of your application materials until after you actually submit, and that the office has been delayed because of the Thanksgiving holidays. But I called and emailed my school registrar just in case, as well as sent an email to the program in question.

Anyone have any experience with Rutgers Biomedical Engineering Masters Program? I’m interested in it, but I have a very low Verbal GRE score (410). Do you think this alone can prevent me from acceptance?

About GRE subject test:
“This also includes the subject test. If you don’t take it, its fine, but if you do and have a good score, it will help you.”
This is what I heard from an admissions committee professor when I asked about “how bad would it be not taking the subject GRE”. I decided not to take it.
Has anybody heard anything from schools?
I finally submitted ALL MY 13 applications during this weekend. I am just so glad this is over (or at leas this part is over).

Stanford deadline is today at 9PM. One of my reference letters was sent via express mail and it arrived at Palo Alto CA (near the school, assume) on Nov 25th. I think it’s still at the distribution facility there. On the USPS website, it is still saying that the “Origin Post is Preparing Shipment”…

Arrgggh!! What am I going to do if it doesn’t get there in time :'(

Shannonista-- Take a deep breath! I’m sure that Stanford doesn’t slam its gates shut right at the hour of the deadline (Well, they might cut off online submissions, but I’d imagine it’s different for paper mail). I would think that as long as the letter was postmarked by the deadline, its actual arrival being a day late won’t be a problem. You could email the department to find out for sure, though.

Stanford accepts letters up to December 14th.

You should call and talk to each school’s admissions department. You’ll find that they are quite sympathetic in regard to supplemental materials arriving a little late.
