Lelouch, I just got waitlisted from UMB as well. Ughh

Any insight into how UChicago Neuro interviews usually go?

Lelouch and Saefetypin, are you guys international students?

Hey guys,

I just got acceptance from GSK!!! Can’t believe it!! Am going crazy!! Its my top choice!

Good luck everyone for coming interviews!

Hello, I’m new. And freaking out.

Did anyone here apply to BCM Immunology?
I know interview invites started going out last Monday, but I still haven’t heard from Emory IMP, anyone else?

Anyone interviewing at Iowa this weekend (Jan 28-30) or Pittsburgh (Mar 4-7)?

Just got an acceptance from GSK also krishh008… were you at the interview last week?

@neurosci

I am an international applicant so my interview was couple of weeks back via Skype! Btw did they mail you regarding the informal visit in March?

Does anyone know if Rockefeller is done sending out packages?

@biomed2010: Yes, I’m international (Canadian and did my undergrad in Canada).

Pittsbutgh MCDB (one of my safe applis) gave me two dates, which unfortunately collided with utah and duke interviews. so they are going to consider another date for me, either end feb or 1st week of march. A young proff called me and kept telling me that I have stellar resume! unfortunately, when I applied there two years back, they kept me wait listed! So I should say, experience matters!

and yes, what about Rockefeller? Its driving me crazy…every day I go back home expecting some package…in vein! any sort of communication from them will relax me!

how soon does columbia get back to you with their decision after the interview? i have an interview with their immuno/micro dept next week… o_0

Rockefeller sent a lot of acceptance packages around Jan 14, some arriving in CA Jan 18

Judging from past years it appears Rockefeller sends all acceptances early in January per the above comment with rejection notices coming in early February.

I’m very very very excited to say: I was also accepted to GSK!!! Congrats to you guys as well! I really hope to see you all at the informal visit in March. The dates are the 10-11th, which is on my spring break haha.

What a great day!

I just got my first acceptance- Hopkins CMM! Now I can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Anyone else who went last weekend hear back yet? Good luck to those of you guys still working on your first. I’ve pretty much given up on Baylor TBMM.

Applied: Hopkins, UW Seattle, Emory, Baylor, UT Southwestern, UM Baltimore and UAB
Interviews: Hopkins, UW Seattle, Emory, UT Southwestern, UM Baltimore and UAB
Accepted: Hopkins
Rejected: None

@Lelouch / Microphd
I also got an e-mail telling me that I was on their waitlist, but I thought that meant I wouldn’t have a chance anymore. Well, at least in this e-mail, the lady said that my chances were “slim”. I guess my e-mail was worse than yours …

@biomed2010 Congratulations! I also hope to be in your position in the future.

I am a domestic application (Response to your earlier question).

By the way I’m not a creeper or anything but I looked at your past posts and noticed that you have some substantial experience in research. Did you take a year off for it? I know this is WAY too early but I am considering the same if I don’t get into the schools I want. When was your Hopkins application complete? Mine was completely done (with supplements) on January 13th.

Hey guys,
