Accepted? O_O

I checked it at 8.30am my time right after waking up so I’m still in a bit of a blur. For some unknown reasons I closed the decision letter as soon as I saw “congratulation!”
And I’m still in bed.I think I’m collapsing right back to bed after this post.

Bloody hell…I’M ACCEPTED? O_O

Thanks Robbie. You’re saying the same things as everyone else, but for some reason all I can believe is that despite my high scores, ECs, etc I’m unattractive to colleges? I felt that my essays were strong (writing is one of my strengths) but didn’t really convey my personality (I didnt want to take a chance by writing humorous essays). also, I only read one of my teacher recs (that one was glowing) but I didn’t read the other one, and maybe that showed some kind of flaw? Idk all I can think about is all the things I could’ve done wrong :frowning: I’ve never been this depressed in my life. I hope you’re right about thursday, but I can’t get my hopes up.

It’s a great school. but I really did love duke. sigh.

[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: see strengths[/li][/ul]General Comments: I’m happy to have gotten in, but without the Robertson or another major scholarship, I knew I wouldn’t choose it over Yale (where I got in SCEA)…so now I’m only waiting on Harvard & Brown before making my final decision! Congrats to everyone else who got in! And to those waitlistees who’re staying on the waitlist: have hope! I will be giving up my place, so that’s at least 1 more spot that’s available  And to those rejected: I know it hurts (I got rejected from MIT a few weeks ago…), but it’s all for the best…you’ll end up at a good place in the end
