2010 updated Protestant Christian College/University List

I’m so sorry I used an older list. I’m not sure how that happened. Thanks for taking the time to update this and for explaining the situation with Hope College. I figured out the source of my confusion about the two colleges with “Hope” in their names: searching merely for “Hope” on the CollegeBoard website yields only Hope International University. Someone who is interested in using the CollegeBoard website to find Hope College in Michigan should search for “Hope College.”

Is there any way to update the title of the thread so it now says “2011” instead of “2010”?

I took the most recent list from Creekland, added state information for Hope College and Hope International University, updated those two, and updated Covenant College and Baylor University.

List might be more helpful to some if the denomination and level of religious influence were included, as these characteristics may be relevant to some.

But I’ll admit to not knowing that about most of them. When oldest son was looking a couple years back my first way to sort was by academic level - then I looked at those more carefully to find fit. All the rest is just for anyone to make use of the my time/compilation. I’m about to head to lunch, but after lunch I might be able to add those you suggested and update a few stats in general. It’s a slow day at school. I can’t guarantee I’ll have time today as there will be a couple of students here. Next week is going to be a slow week too (it’s our last week and seniors had their last morning this morning).

Anyone else can feel free to do the same. I’m not possessive.

There are also some well known obviously named colleges and universities that are not yet on the list, like Texas Christian and Southern Methodist.

Aren’t Friends schools/colleges Quaker?

Very useful thread. Thanks for putting it together!

I believe Liberty includes all their matriculated online students in their numbers which makes them lower than the on campus group.
