How important is it to remember the individual geographers/people?

Given the models, I can only recall:
Thunen
Mackinder
Malthus (I guess he has a model…)
Hoyt
Weber

For all those who just mentioned they are self-studying (and started now lol) what book(s) r u usin??

Princeton Review. The tests in that book are way easier than the 2008 Practice exam. I suggest you look over some additional vocab to prepare. I took a PR test and got 63/75 and on the Released Practice Exam I got a 53/75. <----Not bad as long I can do well on the FRQs but I’d still like to get that up.

And what do think abt usin the Barron’s prep book??

agreed about the 2008 practice exam, i got a 50/75.

i’m just gonna memorize vocab, models, some major examples, and use common sense for the exam. theres no way in hell i can memorize the minor details

Speaking of the 2008 one… I loved that question with the graph of distance vs interaction. That was serious college level business.

How much do most people who get 5’s get on the MC’s?

Probably in the 60s.

Practice questions anyone???

Oh, are a majority of people in the U.S. protestant or roman catholic?

here’s what I have left to do:
Read 2 online cram packets
Read my notes
Finish the last 3 chapters in Barron’s
Study models & vocab
Practice Q’s

all before Friday morning…

Does anybody have any can, packets they can share? My school teaches this class like it’s a joke. O just got a 44% on a Barrons 2010 test.

I’m bumping this whole thread

I’m about to read my whole PR book right now. Good luck everyone.

PR is the best xD

So I just took practice test 2 in the PR book. I scored a 65/75. However, I think there might have been two typos made on the answer key. #56 and #50.

for 50 I put ‘A’, but the correct answer was ‘E’
And for 56 I put ‘B’, but the correct answer was ‘D’

Can someone with a PR book please check this out. I could be wrong. But looked over both questions multiple times, and I don’t see how I could be.

@Mrluggs

Yeah, I think you’re right.

I’m rather sure Mecca, Medina, and Riyadh are not all national capitals of Saudi Arabia. And 56 is surely B, that is just a pure definition.

Can we please keep going over practice questions? These will really help me and a lot of other people here.
