Monday, April 11 at 9 am starts the registration for the 2011 Football ticket Lottery. You must register and pre-pay if you want a season football ticket; this includes all incoming freshman who would like a season football ticket. If you do not win the lottery, your money will be refunded. You may also sign up for a ticket for Gator Growl at this time, I believe. The Gator Growl ticket is a permanent/non lottery one. This is a really fun homecoming pep rally/concert/comedy event at night in October. The Swamp is packed with people, and you will enjoy yourself. You can sit anywhere with anyone.
My S and D both entered the lottery their incoming freshman years and both were lucky enought to "win" season tickets. The price has gone up this year ($105?), but is really worth it as you gain entry to 7 or so home games. Here is a link to register---and remember that tomorrow is only the start of the registration period. Good luck to all.

Does is matter is you sign up for the lottery right at 9 am tomorrow? Or can you sign up the last day and sill have an equally likely chance?

Also, do you know if you dont get tickets, how hard will they be to come by?

There is no advantage to signing up for the lottery early.

As far as ticket availability goes, they sell the tickets that have not been picked up on Thursdays before the game at 6:00. If you are quick it’s quite possible to get them then, otherwise Craigslist and other students are your best bet. Prices this way can get high for the more popular games though.

As an incoming freshman, we dont have to take that SERU survey right? I’m having trouble registering for the lottery. I made my account on gatorzone, but when i click buy tickets I don’t see anything about the lottery. Can anyone help?

nevermind it’s working for me now

i’m also not seeing anything when i click the buy tickets link. this is not fun.

Is there any way to sign up without doing the SERU survey? It says my UFID is invalid

Same here. I am trying to take the survey, but my UF ID is called “invalid”. I sure hope it is fixed soon, so I can sign up for tickets.

It wasn’t working for me at first with google chrome, but once I signed onto gator zone using mozilla firefox it worked and I entered in the lottery with no problems so maybe the type of browser you are using is causing a problem. Also about the SERU survey, you DO NOT have to take it if you are an incoming freshman…which may be why your UF id isn’t working for it

How do you register without doing the survey?

My ticket management button is grayed out, so I figured I had to take the survey…if I do not have to take it as an incoming freshman, than how can I access the lottery?

Click the link “forgot your password” then type in your email. You’ll get a password sent to you and login with that.

You can always call the phone # that is on Gatorzone.com webpage. They were helpful when my S registered for the lottery last year (as an incoming freshman) and had problems.

you don’t take the seru survey if your a freshman its only for sophmores and up applying for the lottery that need to take it

When do we find out the results?
