2011 January Curves

Any idea for the curves for this test? -1 800 Math seems possible...

math -1 780
writing -1 77
reading -3 780

“writing -1 77”

Uh yeah, don’t scare me like that.

average is 78. recently it has gone all the way to -1 76. 77 i think is realistic.

Does -1 mean one question wrong or one point off (four questions wrong?)

One question

reading -3 780 sounds wonderful

lol its what im hoping for. CR was just hard with the tribulations and baseball birthday readings.

math is most likely 800-770-750 if not harsher in my opinion. I thought it was easier than the Oct '10 test and that one had an 800-770-750 curve. personally, I don’t think 800-780 is happening, but we can all still hope

^How was the Oct CR compared to today’s?

October 2010 reading was much easier than January 2011 in my opinion

^ i agree

10 char

what do you think a -10 (raw points) writing will be with a 10 essay?

I need better than a 630 lol

was -3 CR ever 800?

I think -3 = 780 for cr is pretty reasonable. It has happened before.

Does anyone know when we get our scores back?

^
February 10

That gives us one day to register for March SATs, right? ._.

Yes. That’s a relief for me.

This test was much harder than the November SAT as well. The CR curve for November was 6 questions wrong = 740 (what I got) so I am expecting a very generous curve for this test. This test had the hardest critical reading section I have seen on an SAT (practice or real). As for the writing and math, the curves should be average if not below average. Writing section was especially easy.

When you say “6 wrong” is that -6 Raw points or -6 Questions(leading to -7 Raw Points)?
