He presented himself to the judge, knowing he was guilty yet hoping for leniency

Pretty sure thats verbatim.

He presented himself to the judge, knowing he was guilty yet hoping for leniency

Pretty sure thats verbatim.

^ was the that sentence?

if it was “and yet hoped” wouldnt that still have the same problem

is “no negative affect” correct???

Doesn’t it have to parallel for the sentence I wrote? I just kept it the way it was.

So it’s established that it was “Never having been” for the museum question?

Also for the “Only after reading it several times had I…” question was there another choice with “did” in it? I thoght only one choice had “did” I think I chose D, anyone?

i agree with the verbatim one for violinplayer; i think that was the sentence and the correct answer.

can anyone tell me what you put down for the 5 Improving paragraph questions???

I’m freaking out!!! Help TT

I do remember that for one question I got the “delete sentence” or something,
but I just can’t remember the rest!!

Thanks a lot:)

so no one chose “and yet he hoped”? :((
i thought that was grammatically correct…

yea…because of parallelism. had to be “yet hoping”

Also for the “Only after reading it several times had I…” question was there another choice with “did” in it? I thoght only one choice had “did” I think I chose D, anyone?

yet hoping was 100% correct.
I got 3 No errors in identification
-one was chunnel, one was little or no good, one was the 2nd on the page next to improving paragraphs
Only 1 stayed the same in section 10. (i think number 7 or something)
—the 1st 3 were d in section 10
i think there were 3 that stayed the same on first 11 improving sentences
–one was were i to be
–one was a library with semicolon, #7
—forgot the last one

Please check this list, im hoping for an 800.

are you sure about the or no or up to question;number 18; I think.

Oh, does anyone remember the questions which had “that” underlined? They were in the middle of my sections. I know this is vague, but I remember that I picked “that” as being the wrong one because I thought it should’ve been “which” and I’m not entirely sure that I made the right decisions.

“That” might’ve referred to a person I think. It should’ve been “who”

are you guys sure it is not little to no good?

I’m pretty sure there was a question in which “which” was underlined but it was modifying a person so it should have been “who,” though I don’t know if that’s the same question you guys are talking about.

And also I think “that” is still correct if it’s a person i.e. The person that wore the red hat yesterday is wearing blue socks.

Does anyone remember the question from section 10 about Africa?

it was like ________ i would travel through Africa and see as many places as possible or something.

a)
b) I would be given

^If i were given

was that choice A? i forgot which one i put but i kept it as is

Did anyone get a no error for this one question about an Asian women who wrote some book o-o?
