i think we need QAS, is there a deadline to buy this?

Do u guys remember question on section 10?
It was like … Themes predominantly in poetry, ________ blah blah

was the “Black and Yellow Wings of a butterfly” supposed to have a “is” or an “are?”

I put are but somebody in my english class is trying to convince me that it is “is”.

^ I put “are” as well.

Bringing up the coffee question: Although bitterly does sound awkward, shouldn’t the answer be burned. Burnt is an adjective that would describe a smell, while burned is the past tense of the verb burn. Any thoughts?

@bio thats how i interpreted it as well

but saying “bitterly” to describe the coffee makes it seem the coffee itself is tasting

what about the origami question?

Well, there goes my chances of an 800. Unless a 10 essay and -1 allows for a 800.

What about the question? I remember it was something about that “Though origami is something associated with children, blah blah, that many adults actually do origami as an art.” Something like that.

for the last finding error question wasn’t there a problem with consciousness for it should have been conscience.

^what was the sentence for that question?

Wait, what were the two improving paragraphs about? I only remember the bicycle one. I heard there was a cartographer one but I don’t recall that one…

^
I got one about spicy foods

^ did you have two 25min writing sections

The cartographer improving paragraphs was in the experimental writing section.

I did but I don’t remember anything about a cartographer or spicy foods.
Shoot…do you remember anything about the actaluy improving sentences or identifying errors on the experimental?

i had the math experimental and i had a bicycle passage for writing so the bicycle one is the real one

Bitterly is definitely wrong because that implies that the coffee is doing the tasting.

Does anyone remember this one?: “Were I to be given one free month (or something like that), I would travel to Africa…”

The “were I to be given” was underlined. I said it was correct, none of the others seemed a better choice. What do you guys have for that?

^ i said that were i to be correct was correct because “were” is subjuntive which expresses a wish

aka an optative ;)
