2011 January SAT: Writing Section

Can someone clarify for the essay if it is ok if I just talked about examples of idealistic approaches? and not really mentioning practical ones?

for essay as long as you use good examples its good. you can argue anything. either side is okay

yeah mastermind i did the same, as long as you prove through examples that x is bad and that it does not solve y, or that x is bad and that y is good

has a consensus been reached on the total number of No Errors and which one’s they are

Was the one that ended in “damaging” a no error?

What did you have for your essay question?

there were 5 ish? in all sections… but i had an experimental
so like 2 in each
can someone compile?

someone please compile!!

there’s one about europe “increased unity…”
anyone remember the answer to that?

woocollege – The one about the Chunnel? I’m pretty sure that was no error.

did you guys put that “campaigned about increase the awareness blah blah” was right?

and its “provide resources TO students and photographers” not provides resources FOR them right?

It was having been (still happening) only one im worried about is the last bicycle one. was it A the women now set records or C the women are biking to a new road of equality?

the one that was about
given one month to do anything, I would do …

Did you guys put leave it as it is?
or “by being given one month…”

by doesn;t sound right

everyone, it’s “never before having been”

The original phrase didn’t have if…
I think one of the choices was “If I would be given…” which I thought was wrong
since it should’ve been “If I were given”

so, experimental was the first one, and real was the second one?
I’m sorry, I just don’t remember which one was the cartographer and bicycle.

can u guys tell the topics u got for the essay… if thats allowed?

@dfetlkjlkjflkj: the answer was A, “Were I given…”

also, what did you guys put for question 18, the one that ended with “little or no negative effect”? i usually hear people saying little TO no effect, but then I thought that there was nothing wrong with saying “or” so I put no error… what did you guys say?

did anyone have the experimental section about the asian americans and the politician?
