Thought I would start a thread since RD decisions are supposedly being mailed tomorrow the 23rd. Best of luck everyone. We should know hopefully by this weekend. YAY!!!

I am sorry but I just looked on the Vanderbilt website and it states that decisions won’t be mailed until April 1. Am I missing something or is it just a common belief that they will send out tomorrow?

^Vandy admissions blog says they’re being mailed tomorrow afternoon.

Golf, the blog can be found [Vanderbilt Admission Decisions Will Mail Tomorrow | The Vandy Admissions Blog | Vanderbilt University](Vanderbilt Admission Decisions Will Mail Tomorrow | The Vandy Admissions Blog | Vanderbilt University)

I’m hoping my letter comes thursday… ah! :)

Ahh that’s so soon!! If there are any postal experts on CC, could anyone estimate when I would get the letter from TN (sent tomorrow the 23rd) if I live in the mid-atlantic?

O thank you very much. I am excited!!!

Oh. My. Gosh.

…That is all.

Ahhhhhh I am officially. freaking. out.

Yessss. I get my aid package. Envelopes are priority mail I believe.

I reeeeaaaalllllyyyy hope I get in! Anxious.

email or snail mail? not that I really care, just that it might make 1-2 days difference in arrival

If accepted do you receive a Financial Aid package the same day as your acceptance letter?

@Golf,

“* If you applied for need-based aid and received admission, your aid package will come with your admit letter”

Oh, wow. Hyperventilate!
Best wishes to all!

internationals will get their decisions by email on the 25th :)

I. am. so. nervous.

They mailed at 1pm today. Anyone have a guess of when they will come?!

Highlights of the admitted class include:

Middle 50% SAT (CR + M): 1440-1590
Middle 50% ACT: 32-35
Percent of students in the top ten percent of their graduating class: 93.69%*
Average rank in class (% from the top): 3.48%*
Overall admit rate (as of mailing day): 15.45%

HOLY…

Well, if I had little faith I was getting in before, now I have zero. Lol

hmmmm, I am wondering how many of those in top quartile will end up enrolling at Vanderbilt. Will be interesting to compare admitted stats vs. enrolled stats.

^those numbers are really, really scary! 1590 and 35 are only 75th percentile?!?!?! Only 15% admit rate? All right. I’m screwed. =/
