2011 RD decisions this week :)

Ah this scares me…I didn’t receive anything in Georgia but now i’m thinking that I just didn’t get in.

Can anyone verify that they send out acceptances before waitlist/reject?

^I think they do… rejects and waitlists go out 1st class mail and acceptances are priority mail.

So if you didn’t get anything today it cna be assumed you were rejected? I’m in CT, and if MA got it, then I would too if accepted, I think. Ah well.

if ct is like NJ it depends on your zip and local post office. I’m just happy when mail shows up at all

Hmm. Well, didn’t expect to get in anyway - I’m southern CT, so I kind of get the feeling that if I were accepted I’d know by now, esp if recieved elsewhere. I just want the closure of a rejection letter so I can stop fretting.

Accepted NJ! :)

^Son got a big, cardboard packet from Vanderbilt today with the word “Congratulations!” on it! He doesn’t know it yet. I just got home and checked the mail. He won’t be home for a few hours. Yay! He’ll be so excited! (But, as I said on another thread, the excitement will be relatively short-lived. Without one of the major scholarships, I don’t think he’s going to be able to attend. Oh well. That’s life!) :)

I received my official acceptance today in new york. I had already received an acceptance letter February 14th though, so this was no surprise.

Anyone receive a notice in CA?

Got in! Thanks for the great $grant, too, vandy!! from central florida

Anyone around Colorado get a letter yet??

Nope, not yet…Moskowitz?

@Cali, yes haha…who are u

accepted in illinois :)

My D was accepted today, we’re in northern Chicago burbs … this closes out ALL of our decisions … whew, finally! Tally = 10 schools, 9 admits + 1 waitlist (WUSTL). Won’t be attending Vandy though since no merit and no FA $$$, so can’t pay “retail” $55K COA … great honor to be accepted this year though. Good luck to all that will be attending Vandy. GREAT SCHOOL! :-)

Accepted in Northern California

Accepted in CT:)

:/ No news yet for me in CT. Nervousness sets in.

Well I am hoping our mail is a little slower than the mail elsewhere and that our big envelope is still sitting in the local post office. The good news is that we got a yes to UVA today!
