<p>I am a prospective student looking to apply this year for Summer 2012 because my statistics are not as strong as I’d like them to be. If I pass all my summer courses does this gain me automatic admission for fall? I’m confused as to what happens after you take the summer courses. Do you have to wait to see if you get accepted for fall again or do you automatically gain acceptance? Thanks so much for any answers!</p>
<p>@as21608 If you are admitted to the summer term of 2012 and go through the summer classes, you’re automatically in for fall, yes.</p>

<p>I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure that Summer A is for returning students who want to do a summer session, and Summer B is for Freshmen starting in the summer, as Summer A would conflict with the end of high school senior year.</p>

I wish it weren’t taking so long for the rest of us =[ It’s making me nervous, because my UW GPA is only a 2.8, but I got about 2200 SAT, founded a school newspaper, wrote one heck of an awesome essay, National Achievement Scholar, and a bunch of other junk. Deferred for semester grades, but got all A’s and B’s. The fact that they wait so late in the year really wrecks your chances at another college. UF wants to know really soon if you accept admission, and it’s hard to say no to a college that you KNOW you’re in, when UCF is lolly-gagging so many of us along like this. It’s a sure thing, vs. a maybe at what you really want =[</p>

I’m interested in Computer Science / Engineering and Video game programming. I’m in Florida, so, with in-state tuition and everything, and UCF being one of the best video game schools in the country, it’s really the most logical choice for me. I’m soo hoping I get in!</p>
<p>Hey all, I was really nervous about not getting accepted because of my grades, I applied early November for the Fall 2011 term and just got accepted on Friday. I think the main reason I got accepted that because I followed an article, right here on college confidential: under college admissions: i think it was college defferals, etc. and basically wrote them a well- thought out letter and sent it to the undergraduate admissions team and got the reply that same week. It helped make me stand out from the rest I guess, maybe this could work for the rest of you. Good Luck All! Go Knights!</p>

Thanksss. & I called today and asked when’s the latest time that they will be giving out admissions notifications and got a really general response “we don’t have a set time, you just have to wait…” blah blah blah. But yeah now that you’ve posted that here if we all write letters they may not have the same effect but thanks for letting us know!
