I sent a letter about a week after I was first deferred, expressing my interest and enthusiasm about possibly becoming a Knight, as well as highlighting a few things about myself, such as my continuation in the National Achievement Scholar program, and an internship that I’d gotten, as well as my great first semester grade progress.</p>
<p>I got a small, two-sentence reply that said it would take 3-4 weeks for a decision after my transcripts arrive. =[</p>

<p>Thanks all! & that’s the correct website that I used MayDay. & my stats I think are decent, they didnt look at my SAT grades (thank god) because I’ll have more than 60 credit hours by the time i enroll. 3.5 gpa and not really much extracurricular activities. But definitely do some research on the main reason you want to attend and really think about what you may write. I sent it to the VP of undergrad admissions and it took about 5 days to get my acceptance. I do wish you all the best!</p>

Im really upset and dissapointed…3.6 academic core gpa…3.8 weighted…and 3.4 unweighted…my gpa was good… ACT however…screwd me over. Anyways goodluck to everyone else!</p>

<p>@ andreina42, I’m sorry you didn’t get in. I HATE STANDARDIZED TESTING. I’m hoping to get into the Burnett Honors College but I’m scared that my 1080/1600 SAT won’t get me in. Test scores are so stupid. Admission offices should look at more than just stupid test scores.</p>

<p>Some of the people got in with worse stats, but plenty were denied with better. D:</p>

I am actually a mom who’s son is not even ready for college yet, but he wants to go to the honors college at UCF so I have been watching the stats to see what he will need when its time to apply. Good luck MaydayParade it seems like an wonderful school and I hope you get in!</p>
