summer @ cal

To be frank, I’m not sure. I’ve been blessed with tremendous options and it has made deciding a little difficult.

@raacheeel: Are you on campus in June too?

Research @ UCLA :D

TELL US YOUR OPTIONS!!! but you know you’re going to pick Cal hahahahhaha

Quitting my job. Visiting family in Korea. Then school!

@Grimes99 not sure when i start at UCSD but its most likely in July.

@redoplease: Let’s just say I’ve been really blessed. But if I have to choose between two UCs, I’m probably going to choose UCLA.

well i really just want to know how Hahvahd went. and sucks for yOU CUZ CAL IS AWESOME

lol so insolent.

Harvard is next week. But I’m probably call Cornell and turn them down tomorrow. Gonna be one of the toughest things I will have to do. But it’s for the best.

Cal IS AWESOME! Are you going to visit on Saturday?

@raacheeel: what’s your major and who are you interning for at UCSD? If you don’t mind me asking :)

to all the people doing summer sessions at UCLA, how did u guys find housing? I’m trying to find a place to stay for cheap for summer sessions A and C.

@cici19 i was admitted as undeclared, but i want microbio so its gonna be a toughie…and i havent been assigned a research lab yet!

@ izmeben fellow ucla philo major, what summer class(es) are you taking?

also i am fairly certain that the requirement is 13 courses, not 10… at least according to the departmental website.

ahhhh what eyethink?!?! UCLA over Cornell?! i mean, i know it can get cold man but after a couple of years, you’d have your bachelors FROM AN IVY.
ehh, whatever floats your boat though. i’m a prestige whore myself. i hope you <3 wherever you do end up going, and good luck with making that call tomoro.

and YES ILL BE AT CAL THIS SAT. im going more to check out the campus more in depth-ly as well as the surrounding area…not so much for the chancellor lawl.
wooooo go Bears!

i enrolled in summer session A at ucla, but cant find the payment information. you guys know where i can find this information at ursa or myucla? obviously, if i dont pay i wont be enrolled.

oh and for summer, ill review vector calculus and DE. maybe ill have to go back to cal 1 or 2. haha its been long time since i took those. my major is aerospace engineering and heard the study is heavily based on math. also moving to la from costamesa.

Summer Transfer EDGE program at Cal. Probably taking an intro Spanish course (foreign language requirement and useful for living en La Republic de California) and some other prerequisites (o-chem and/or QM, if offered). Meet some professors/scientists and research groups for possible projects/internships. While there, plan to explore/enjoy SF Bay Area. :)

Believe me you, it isn’t easy coming to this conclusion. Nevertheless, I think it would be unconscionable to take on debt and burden my family when I have a cheaper option.

PM me for fb info so we can schedule a meet up on Saturday if you want or you can just look for me.

I’ll be the mysterious handsome man wearing a tuxedo with a martini in one hand and a Walter PPK in the other.
