2011 UC Transfer Admission Decisions

Hi,

Has anyone recieved a decision from any UC school yet?

I recieved an acceptance letter from UCR on March 1st.

Nope. Still waiting as well and getting really ancy!! good luck!

I received my acceptance to UCSC on March 8th. Still awaiting UCSB, UCSD, UCD, and UCB.

Got accepted to UCSC on 3/17.

Waiting on UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCI, UCSB and UCD. It’s a little nerve-wracking!

Accepted to UCSC, UCSB and UCSD. I think im gonna go UCSC, love the environment

Applied to UCSC, UCSB, an UCD. I got accepted to UCSC and UCSB. nothing from Davis yet but I’m going to ucsb anyway!

Accepted at UCSB… Waiting for UCSD. I liked the courses that they have for anthropology at UCSB better… Although, I’ll have to take an archeology course–which sucks! Depending on how much cash I’m getting, it’s either UCSB or SDSU for me. SDSU is obviously the cheaper one… But UCSB was my #1 choice.

I really wish CC had a more aggressive moderation staff. There are so many duplicate or unnecessary threads that should be merged, or that should have their posts split among several different threads.

For UCSD, admission status as being posted in batches. The first batch was released March 21st and I haven’t about them admitting more students since then. I don’t know when they plan to post the next batch of admitted students.

Has anyone heard from UCSD since March 21, 2011?

Anyone still waiting to hear from school that DID apply for TAG? From my understanding TAG students are being notified first.

^ I TAG’ed with Davis, Irvine, and SD. I haven’t heard back from any of them yet :(

Oddly enough though, I’ve heard back and been accepted to UCSB, where I DIDN’T TAG.

Weird. I hope it’s not bad news :(

TAG’ed with Irvine and heard from them the very first day they sent out transfer acceptances. When I called them about a month ago to ask about admissions, they said it was all random, though the pattern seems to be overwhelmingly TAG people being accepted in the beginning, though I’ve seen a few non-TAG-ers.

I tagged UCSD and have NOT heard back, while I did NOT tag UCSB and I got accepted the first day. Its random, guys.

In at UCSD.

Still pending at UCSB, and obviously UCLA and UC Berkeley. I only really want to go to the latter two.

I’m getting pretty antsy.

Applied to UCSD, UCI, UCLA, Berkeley.

Got into UCSD [Tag]

Waiting on the rest [no tag for UCI].

I got into UCSD, UCSC, UCR, and UCI. April 29th is when the decision for UCLA and UCB is posted.

Makeshiftbrain-were did you hear that UCLA is releasing decisions on the 29th?

UCLA isn’t releasing April 29th.

When will UCLA release its decisions if its not april 29? Early May? next week?

Probably around the 20th(that’s when it was done last year). Nothing is confirmed. I know an adcom at UCLA though and he said they will definitely beat Cal in releasing decisions.
