2011 UC Transfer Admission Decisions

congrats on accepting UCSB @munaluna! I’d be SO happy to be able to plan everything now. But I’m waiting on a couple more schools before I decide. =)

Also ditto @naniwa. UCLA and Cal collaborating? umm…

Okay so apparently two of my friends on FB got into UCLA.They’re not one to ■■■■■…so maybe UCLA is starting to release decisions now?

How does one know if they got into UCLA? Does UCLA send an email?

why dont you ask them?

They never give a straight answer. I should find better friends. lol

Lotus7, they’re probably hallucinating from the stress that comes with admissions decisions, lol.

^ Nice SN…

@Blackmamba8 – Naw…their smug too. :p

A friend who goes to UCLA told me she heard that about UCLA and Cal. She had a 4.0 and was accepted to UCLA and rejected from Cal. Not sure where she heard it but she’s pretty reliable. Will post if I find out more.

@Lotus7

Try to find out if this is really true about your friends being accepted to UCLA. This is the first place that UCLA will post your admissions decision, beginning in “late April.” Then they will send you an e-mail to the address you provided.

[Ms. Sun’s UC Admissions Blog - Rumor Alert!](Error)

I’m calling BS unless we see an independent confirmation.

@Lemonpretty – Sorry for the false alarm. They were being *******s and I was gullible enough to believe it. I guess like everyone else here…I am tired of waiting. Don’t worry about people claiming to have gotten in. We will all find out about acceptances and rejections on the day UCLA listed. Sorry again for getting your hopes up.

@nick_scheu

Thanks for clearing that up! My source must have heard the rumor =/. This is good news for transfers who applied to both Cal and UCLA.

So what day did ucla say?? Or are we all speculating and basically we will find out sometime next week?

^@Julia I’m hoping we find out this week, though no definite date is set, only a “late April” timeframe!!

If not, the last week of April it is. UCLA and Cal admission decisions…eek!

Question:
I was accepted to Cal and UCSD last year but did not complete my Transferable Math Class. What do you guys think about my chances this year about getting accepted to the two mentioned along with UCLA?

GPA: 3.74 (transferable). Accepted Last Year with 3.69
CCC credits complete at the end of spring '11: 63 credits, Accepted Last Year with 40
Major applied to: Legal Studies (Cal) and Poly Sci (SD and LA)
In the honors program at my CCC and have overcome 16 heart related surgeries in my life and will be the first 4 year college student in my entire families history.

Am I in, Again???

anyone else here dying of the anxiety that slowly eats up your soul while simultaneously maintaining your sanity at borderline-in-need-to-be-checked-into-a-mental-hospital…

I am so scared right now. UCLA and UCDavis are taking their sweet time right now…oh my god…What to do? I hope I get to find out soon…I pray that I get accepted. I hope so, I hope so. puppy face

Ok, here’s some hope for everybody! UCLA has completed almost all of there transfer applications. Last year Transfer decisions came out April 21st(Friday) and the year before that, April 24th(Wednesday). So…hopefully in the next 3 days everyone will know.

Also, my friend works in the admissions office there. I’m an Engineering transfer, and while HSSEAS reviews there own apps, they can still be seen in the school system by all admissions staff. I was accepted as an AE transfer with 3.92 GPA, all lower division coursework completed.

Good Luck to all!!!

My brother was accepted to UCD :slight_smile: I checked the financial aide package and he is expected to contribute $3500, but other than that he is covered. Still no word from UCLA or Berkeley, I think I am more nervous/excited than he is!

so i have pretty much come to the conclusion that SD, LA and Berkeley all forgot about potential transfer students
