I’m curious as to why you guys are still pending for UCSD. I got my response on March 19th… Do they usually stretch it out this long?

Accepted to: UCR, UCSC, UCI
Waiting on UCLA and UCSD

Major: Psych
Gpa: 3.7

taylor j

what city do you live in because i heard that if you live in the city/county of the uc, they notify you first. This UCSD pending thing is garbage. Last year they send it out mid april, why is it taking so long???

I live 6-8 hours driving distance north of SD…

well then i am puzzled cuz i live in the inland empire which is like an hour and a half from SD and havent seen anything yet.

@taylorj I don’t think they normally stretch it out this long. People who applied last year said that the batches were usually two weeks apart. This year, however, they released one batch on the 19th of March and haven’t released any batches since then. So, yeah, there are a lot of people who are still pending from UCSD.

Anyone with a TAG from UC Davis still pending?

Accepted to:
UC Davis, UC Irvine, SDSU, CSULB and Cal Poly Pomona

Waiting on:
UCLA, and UCB

Civil engineering transfer

CSU certified
Physical Science AA

3.47
CCC transfer

Every single day every hour I check my admission status. I have never been worried like this before.
I have 4.0 GPA for Economics major.
Waiting for reply from UCB and UCLA first and then UCSD and UCI.
Do you think I have a high chance to get into either school, UCB-UCLA? I took English101 this winter which meant I finished my English requirement after I submitted the application.
And, I am getting B average for this Spring semester.
Anyone in my shoes before? Can you give me some reference so that my mind can be at peace? Please, my heart is beating like crazy every day now.

So I have question for everyone…I just got an email and a call from the UCLA alumni association telling me I should apply for a scholarship they offer to CCC transfer students. No where does it say that I have been admitted, but does this mean that there is a high likelihood that I will be whenever decisions are released?!? UCLA is my number 2 school (only behind Berkeley) so I am freaking out right now at the possibility that I may be accepted!

sorry to burst your bubble, but the scholarship call/email is exactly as they say. Has nothing to do with whether you’ve been admitted or not. I know this because I applied to UCLA last year and was really hopeful when i got the call too! but… found out that i did not get in …once april 21st came around. I received the call again this morning too (second time applying to UCLA), but will not be fooled! Hey who knows, maybe you did get in, but for sure receiving the email/call about the scholarship does not mean you’ve been admitted. I wish you the best!

estarry- what is your major and gpa?

CCC Transfer
IGETC Certified
TAG
3.22 GPA
Denied: CSULB (Film Production), UCLA (Film Production)
Accepted: CSUN (Pre-CTVA), UCSC (Film Production), UCSD (Visual Arts/Media) Revelle College (5th Choice), UCSB (Film and Media Studies)

Leaning towards either CSUN or UCSB, it’s a very tough decision. Both great schools. CSUN has a much better film program but UCSB is much better academically. Tough choice.

^ How do you know you’re rejected from UCLA already?

Because the film production major already conducted their interviews and they have stated they already admitted their 15 transfers and are done with interviews. I didn’t choose a second major and I was not granted an interview, therefore I am denied. I know two people who had interviews who already got into the program and the interviews were done weeks ago.

Got in to ucla 3.21 neruobio major!!!
