<p>I am very surprised that I got into UCLA I was expecting to get rejected. Maybe my essay wasn’t as bad as I thought. My first essay I explained why I went from biology to psychology, talked about how my best friend’s drug addiction made me want to become a substance abuse counselor and my internship. My second essay I explained why I was on academic probation my first semester and how I managed to go from below a 2.0 to a 3.5. The fact that I took biology major courses may have helped out too who knows. I am happy I got in.</p>
