2011 UCLA Transfers: The Central Thread for Discussion and Decisions

I looked at previous posts and it seems like most of you who can see FA info are Econ majors. Maybe we should all start posting major and GPA.

Major: Math/Econ

This is what mine shows in its entirety: [TinyGrab - Simple. Screenshot. Sharing.](http://grab.by/9TtQ)

I find it strange that mine shows Incomplete.

^ That’s strange because mine shows as complete. Are you sure there were no hiccups with your FAFSA? Or maybe they just haven’t gone around to it yet.

I’m really curious to see if anyone can actually see their awards for the 2011-2012 school year. That would probably be a sure sign of acceptance.

@ SMCguy

Major: Math/Econ
GPA: 3.87
Pre-Reqs: 7/9

Can see award and document tracking.

hey im trying to find last year’s thing regarding the fin aid documents and the document tracking can someone post it?

Here it is: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/702632-ucla-ursa-hack-results.html?highlight=ursa

I think there was exactly one person who couldn’t see their fin aid & doc tracking and still got in (that submitted their fafsa of course). Then again, I don’t think there were many who got rejected that participated.

This is depressing, I can’t see it.

3.83, 4.0 Major

Math

One year transfer

missing a pre-req

jetlogic what do you see?

I can’t see it yet either…

Economics
GPA: 3.82
TAP Certified
All pre-reqs completed

OK I looked through the postings from last year and only a handful were able to see FA on 4/16/10…then the majority saw FA appear 4/21/10 from the morning until minutes before official decisions were posted. No one should panic yet.

As for the lucky souls who see FA today, you’re pretty much in!

jetlogic-did you sumbit financial aid?

lol i promised myself I wouldn’t get obsessive over this whole decision/application process … i’ve stuck to it…UNTIL NOW.

Yes I did, pretty early too.

Though, my cal grant web page status still shows up as processing. Anyone else still not seeing their cal grant award?

I just checked the cal grant site and mine is also pending renewal. Anyone else?

*not renewal for me, this is my first time submitting it

Even after I created my logon, for a long time was wondering what you guys are looking at. Then I realized I was looking at the “MyFaO thing” where it said “NO REQUEST” under document tracking.

Then I put “URSA Online” in google …nowww I see what you guys are talking about! …duh!

OK, now I can see BOTH : Doc Tracking “completed” date: 4/15/11

and I can see the Financial Aid summary as well!! :)

…Stats, for those that want to speculate  :
Major: Elec. Engineering GPA: 3.85; UCLA major gpa:3.79

So I submitted my FAFSA around March 2-3 I believe, and filed as “will file”. How will that effect this process?

I can’t see it either.

Business Econ
TAP
3.82
Prereqs done

Wack…

same question: the people than can see their fin aid…did anyone of you select “will file” for either/both you and your parents?
