Are these posts from CCers, I wonder?

lol maybe!^
ill be keeping tabs on it just incase “ucla” actually replies or something

I want the decisions to be out tomorrow so bad!!!

me too!^ but for some reason i feel like that’s not happening…prove me wrong, you see ell ay!

A friend of mine at the STOMP conference said the 25th was mentioned. Let’s hope he’s wrong!

I googled stomp conference

[STOMP - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/stompconference/)

It’s on the 6th of May for this year. Was your friend talking about last year’s?

Lol yes, I’m the guy with the most recent post. I was hoping to get some sort of response to put my mind at ease but it seems like my question is going to go unanswered

It might not have been a conference and just a meeting. He’s part of STOMP.

^^note: someone else who works for UCLA’s CCCP said there’s no set date and said the week of the 21st is correct. If we hear tomorrow and this wait is over I’ll be sooo happy.

Really, Ella? I’m getting a bit delusional at this point.

It better be tomorrow. I haven’t been able to eat… or sleep… or study… haha.

I applied to the architecture department with art history as my second choice (TAP). No open house invite , so I’m really just waiting on art history.

hahahaha nick you called it! And ella that actually gives me a lot of hope. I think they’ll do it on Thursday though…

Is anyone else planning on waiting a year if they don’t get in and try again?

^ HELL NO, SB is my backup school. I’d rather go to SB and try to apply to LA as a grad student than to wait another year and go through all of the unnecessary stress that comes with filling out and following through with college apps. And plus I’ve been dying to move on for quite sometime now, if I had to spend another year at PCC I’d kill myself.

Nice–Looks like the Freshman admit rate for UCLA jumped almost 3% compared with last year.

http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2011/fall_2011_admissions_table1.pdf

Edit: The 3% increase in admit rate is on a higher number of applications–15% more applicants were admitted this year than last (13,000 vs 15,000).

Yup, I also heard they will admit more transfers than last year.

Thats surprising, considering their budget shortfalls. I suppose admitting more student/ increasing class size is one way to make more money, though. Hopefully that means good things for us…

Smcguy- would berkeley also admit more transfers?

Dear goddd I hope it’s released tomorrow night. Any other SMC scholars program students waiting to hear?

Is ucla your top choice?
