Still no major for me in myucla…bummer.

Everyone who isn’t seeing any thing on myucla or getting signed out or can’t see fin aid on ursa should just be patient. Remember they can’t update everyone all at once. Don’t lose hope.

Or that it even really matters; I’ve been looking through the old UCLA admissions thread, and it looks like there was a considerable number of people who didn’t have their documents, etc. updated until after being admitted.

As another example, I was accepted to UC Davis (I know, shocker right), but my financial aid information still hasn’t updated on MyAdmissions profile.

Today or not today?

Anyone else use to be able see their major but now has a white bar?? So sketch!!

I spoke to another, equally irritated, admissions representative yesterday, and she said (like has already been pretty much determined) that admissions decisions will be out next week sometime. Asked if before Cal, and she said yes. So guys, give it a rest until at least Monday – UCLA says the most important thing for you to be doing right now is getting good grades! You wouldn’t want to get accepted, then rescinded for getting a ‘C’ because you were addicted to CC for 5 straight days in a row (personal case)!

@SMCguy
I know, but there’s an absurd amount of people applying to the same major this year =.=

@iZychr Well your FA tracking and summary is showing. This is the best indicator that you’ll get in.

Anyhow, I feel like decisions will be out early next week…back to work.

Why am I not able to logon to myucla? It’s freaking me out!

I joked a few dozen pages back about paying a corrupt admissions representative $100 to tell me my decision early, but actually, that might not be a bad idea.

If UCLA had an official program where, for $100, you could get your decision as soon as it was available, rather than on the same day everyone else’s was, how many of us would pay?

It would be like, on April 2, “Your decision is complete and will be released on April 29. You can add a priority notification service to receive your decision within the next 24 hours for $100.”

Out of 20,000 applicants, I think at least 1,000 would pay the money. Might be a nice little revenue stream.

Hey Izychr - you submitted your FAFSA late, right? I tried to call the FAO yesterday to see what the deal with that was, but couldn’t get in contact with anyone. I’m going to try again today.

I’m nervous though, because it seems as though all the UC campuses are very strict about the March 2nd deadline. They claim that your aid will be limited, and you will not be entitled to UC grants–only Pell Grants, Cal Grant renewals and Stafford loans. I was really counting on any additional funding from UC because my EFC is 0 and I can’t afford to keep taking out undergraduate loans when I plan to go to graduate school. Luckily I have Cal Grant already processed at CCC, and it automatically renews and waives my fees at UC for up to three more years when I transfer, but still kind of concerning…

I would pay for a three week advanced notice. If it were a week or a few days the decision would depend on the price.

So my tracking now has both the fafsa (which is had before as received) and then my tax status estimate or something, and then when I go to my summary it says complete now and the estimate for what I pay changed…this happened today without a doubt.
Just thought I would share and fan the flames a bit.

I would pay $100 on the spot to know my decisions now.

100$? Dude I’d pay …lol

My ursa just updated today as well! What does this mean?

Housing Status: Off-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $27,608.00
Student Contribution: $40.00
Parent Contribution: $2,046.00

Hmm a lot of URSA updates happening… just like last year…

All the rumors about dates this week/next week, the 20th, 21st and now the 24th or 29th seem to have no foundation. It will happen when it happens. Guess the best thing to do is just keep checking everyday at 5pm. Does seem like there are a lot of updates today, but it seemed that way on the 20th as well.

everytime i look at this thread i start to have a panic attack. are all you guys who are able to successfully log in fall '11 transfer admits? or just summer? i made a login but it obviously will not LET me log in (dunno admit decision yet) haha, it goes through but ends up going to an error page which is…scary.

i feel so left in the dark /: i havent even gotten any emails from ucla since the initial email saying that they’ve received my application ): having multiple heart attacks as i type

^ Easter sunday!?!? Haha
