^
were you waitlisted for CAS?
Any idea if other college released their waitlist acceptance?

I was waitlisted at Tisch. I’m pretty sure Tisch has been notifying earlier than other schools so don’t lose hope!

Got email, off CAS waitlist, have till 6/1 to respond.

I was in a study today and checked my e-mail. I have until 6/1 to respond, too.

:/ do you guys know if they make ‘rounds’ or are the ppl who they contact today basically it? I’m heartbroken, really.

i think it is because i called the office today, and they told me that if you don’t get a notification today, you basically wait till after june 1 for them to notify you, so if the first round waitlist people dont want to go, then they start notifying us… basically we’re screwed. lol

^
WHAAAA
It’s over already?!
Hasn’t seen any Stern waitlistees got off yet ;<
wth! :,< cry

I GOT MY EMAIL TODAY TOO!
Just got into CAS with a 23,000 scholarship! Although they raised the tuition to 59000 this year. X_x
Anyways, good luck to all of you that are still waiting! Hope you get in as well!

Shoot them emails, I did several times to remind them I was still interested and kept up with extracurricular activities!

Congrats to all who heard recently and got into their respective school at NYU. Sorry we have not heard yet from any Stern waitlistees yet. Hoping for the best outcome for all of you.

wzhang, it is good to know you got off the WL and got a significant amount of scholarship money (though NYU is still not cheap, but better than nothing, right?). Double Happiness.

I got off the Tisch waitlist as well!

Good luck to everyone else for decisions. I’m sure you’ll do well wherever you go, regardless of whether its NYU or not.

I could have posted this earlier, but I forgot about the waitlist thread, haha.

I got off of the waitlist for NYU Gallatin on May 5th (yay first round?) and they offered me a significant amount of scholarship money – way more than CMU offered me D;

So now I’m just struggling to decide between the two. Best of luck to everyone looking to get off the waitlist – especially for Stern/Tisch!

Got an e-mail from NYU notifying that I’m on the extended waitlist and will be updated after June 1st. The e-mail says they have accepted 270 people off the waitlist thus far. Oh well… more waiting!
Btw, I’m an Stern applicant. Did anyone get off Stern’s waitlist? I’ve seen lots of CAS, LSP, and a few Tisch and Gallatin, but no Stern so far…

Yeah
elec I got the same email ;<
Doesn’t seem there are any Sterns
Maybe there are no Stern wait list accepts this year
basically it’s over for us lol

Dear Fellow NYU Waitlistees,

Keep your chins up! I was on the forum last night, and I hadn’t received any email from NYU. I was in math class today, and I was going through my junk mail, and lo and behold, an email with the subject, “You NYU Admission Decison.”

I got in, and I freaked out. It was a good day.

(btw, I actually received the email yesterday, but it had gone through my quarantine filter).

Good Luck to Everyone!

O.O which college?

CAS

10char

Meh
I been trying to find a SINGLE Stern waitlist acceptee
doesn’t seems like there are any ><

I got the letter saying that no more offers will be made until 6/1 too. I guess it’s time to move on. Sigh. My heart will always long for New York City. I can’t get over this. So sad.

youarebeautiful and others who are earnest about the NYC/ NYU experience, Think about back-up plans, if this means so much to you.

1) Transfer
2) Graduate School
3) Summer session
4) Visiting student (can be arranged between schools)
5) Work or internship in NYC (if that is the reason for wanting to attend NYU)
etc.

Also, last year one or two people might have reported back positively after June 1. So, while slim, the chances may still there for some of you.

GL and hope everything works out for all of you.

i feel for you, youarebeautiful
